State Quarters Available HereIn January, 1999 America began a unique and historically
compelling ten-year celebration of the 50 States. A series of five
quarter-dollars with new reverses are issued every year from 1999 through 2008.
The coins are issued in the sequence that the states became part of the United
States of America. Community Plus Federal Credit Union is selling special commemorative sets. The Credit Union receives no funds from the sale of these quarters. Proceeds go to support national credit union political activities. Each set will contain two uncirculated quarters; one from the Denver mint and one from the Philadelphia mint. Historical data and interesting facts are included with each quarter collection. State Quarters are minted approximately every 10 weeks until all 50 states have been competed in 2008. Each new quarter is minted for 10 weeks and then taken out of production. That’s why, as time goes by, these State Quarters may increase in value. The Utah Quarter is now available at Community Plus Federal Credit Union. The Utah Quarter set sells for $3.95, and is only available to Community Plus Federal Credit Union members. Illinois and all other previously released quarters are also available.
